If you’re looking for an everyday essential, the T-shirt bra is a great choice for smooth lines under clothing. With seamless cups and supportive straps, it provides comfort and confidence all day long. Typically made of light and soft fabrics, the t-shirt bra is a great choice if you’re on the go or will be somewhat active throughout the day. But, there are some cons to this bra type. They’re made of molded cups that might not fit your bust perfectly and the foam might not flex as much as you’d prefer. Regardless, this bra style can certainly become a quintessential part of every woman’s bra collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Balcony Bras<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

Feeling flirty? A balcony bra<\/strong> might be a great fit. This style lifts and supports your bust, creating a beautiful cleavage and making your breasts look more full. This effect is perfect for dresses or special occasions where you’re dressing to impress. They also offer a low cut while still offering decent coverage. We’ve found that the balcony bra can certainly work for different breast sizes and types and fit well under most clothing styles. One con to the balcony bra is your breasts can sometimes spill out of the cups and the straps can sometimes slip. This problem isn’t common and only happens with certain body types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Strapless Bras<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

Going out for a night on the town and have the perfect strapless dress for the occasion? Then ditch the straps without sacrificing support. Most strapless bras<\/a> offer silicone bands or underwire support to ensure a stay-put fit for strapless dresses or special occasions. Pros of this style is that you ditch that strap which would look awkward with a strapless dress. Typical cons are is the strapless bra can sometimes be uncomfortable to wear, or can be unreliable and failing to give you the support you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Push Up Bras<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

Add a touch of oomph with strategically placed padding and angled cups. Push up bras are great for enhancing your natural shape under fitted tops. By adding volume and lift to your breasts, they can give you a more youthful looking appearance. But, which that can come a cost. Long term wearing of push up bras have been found<\/a> to cause soreness (and in rare cases ligament damage) and sagging. Also, make sure you get your sizing right with a push up bra. Too small a size can be uncomfortable or even cause spillage outside of the cups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the push up bra before, the longline bra is great for enhancing your figure. This style will elongate your torso and smooth your midriff with this extended band style. Great for under sheer tops or low-rise bottoms. Beware though, that for some people, the bottom edge can roll up on some people. Also, just like with every other bra style we’ve discussed in this guide, getting the proper size and fit is very important to ensure that this style does what its designed to do and fits comfortably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dare to bare in a deep V-neckline with this low-cut wonder. Perfect for showing off your d\u00e9colletage without bra peek-through. This bra style is perfect for women who’s breasts are slightly less full at the top. The plunge bra does well at preventing gapping and giving you a much better fit than maybe another bra style would. For women with larger and more full breasts, don’t worry about spilling out of the cup. While this could happen for some people, its not a typical issue most women have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Halter Bras<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

This stylish wonder features straps that loop around the neck, offering unique support and versatility. Ideal for backless or halter-neck outfits. These styles are often combined with a push up feature and are supported with either underwire or silicon banding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
