Lingerie 101 Guide Series: Affordable Sexy Lingerie Brands

When it comes to buying lingerie, there’s quite a lot of choice out there these days. There are your boutique, limited design run brands. These brands offer super high quality products, but typically that comes with a price. Then there are hundreds of smaller brands who are selling lingerie products made at scale in big factories. Most women don’t wear sexy lingerie every day, so spending a lot of money on a single piece isn’t that attractive of a proposition. So, we’ve put together a list of 5 of our favorite affordable lingerie brands.

1. Foxy Lingerie

Well, we’d be a little remiss if our own brand wasn’t our favorite. Started in 2012, Foxy Lingerie has been offering affordable lingerie styles priced between $15 and $75 and manufactured by some of best designers in the business. Brands like Dreamgirl, Shirley of Hollywood, Coquette, and more have been a staple of our offering since day one. We offer all sorts of lingerie styles from babydolls to bras and panty sets, including our exclusive plus size collection. With quality products in an array of designs and colors, we know that you’ll find the perfect sexy lingerie style at Foxy Lingerie.

2. Victoria’s Secret

The brand almost everyone knows, Victoria’s Secret was founded in 1977 by Roy Raymond and his wife Gaye and quickly became one of the most recognizable lingerie brands over the next 30-40 years. Best known for it’s bright stores in most every suburban shopping mall and its stable of attractive models – the Victoria’s Secret Angels. The brand set out to be less about pragmatic designs from big brands like Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, and Jockey and wanted to bring a fresh design approach to an otherwise mundane landscape. And that they did, becoming a billion dollar brand by the early 2000’s.

3. AdoreMe

Founded by Morgan Hemande-Waiche, Adore Me, was set out to be an affordable, yet high quality lingerie brand. Their products now include lingerie, sleepwear, swimwear, and other related apparel styles. Prices typically range from somewhere between $15 and $90. They also offer a monthly lingerie subscription box that has 4-7 items in it that range in price from $19.95 to $59.95 per set. You get to keep what you like and can return the rest – pretty cool!

4. 3wishes.com

We don’t know a ton about how 3wishes.com was founded, but we know that they’ve been around for a long time. They specialize in women’s sexy lingerie and Halloween costumes much like we do at Foxy Lingerie. Brand offerings are very similar to what we offer as well. They site is clean, and fairly easy to use. Rumor has it the founded of Yandy (see below) is now involved with the brand today.

5. Yandy

Yandy is a pretty well known, affordable lingerie brand, that’s been around since 2007 by the Horstman brothers. Originally offering styles by brands we carry, they’ve also branched out to offering their own exclusive lingerie and costume styles, becoming a brand of their own. In 2019, Yandy was acquired by Playboy Enterprises and then again in 2023, by a retail group lead by the company’s former CEO.

Those are just a few of our favorite affordable lingerie brands that you’ll find online. Again, we’re pretty biased about our own brand being our favorite, but if you don’t find what you’re looking for with us, we trust these other brands to hook you up.
