Our Story & History
Foxy Lingerie was founded by Bill Rowell in 2012 out of a frustration with the lingerie shopping experience. Too many online retailers were making it harder than it needed to be — confusing navigation, poor product information, and a one-size-fits-all approach that left customers guessing. Bill saw an opportunity to do things differently.
With a background in software engineering, Bill built Foxy Lingerie from the ground up with the customer experience at the center of every decision. The goal was straightforward: an independent online lingerie store where women could shop confidently, find styles that actually fit, and get honest information about what they were buying — all without the overwhelming, impersonal feel of the big box retailers.
More than a decade later, that philosophy hasn't changed. We're still independently owned and operated, still focused on affordable quality without compromising on style, and still committed to making every customer feel confident and empowered in what they wear.
